Welcome Back!
Dear Parents,
On behalf of the staff at Hamady Elementary, I am happy to welcome you to the 2022-‘23 school year! We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure the students can achieve their highest potential. The Hamady Family recognizes that in order to be successful in school, our children need support from both the home, school and community. We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities. We ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that he/she:
1) Attends school daily and arrives on time( 8:30AM for Hamady EL), ready for the day’s learning experience
2) Completes all classroom/home assignments given by teachers
3) Reads daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literacy skills
4) Shares school experiences with you so that you are aware of his/her school life
5) Informs you if he/she needs additional support in any area or subject
6) Follow the school and classroom rules
7) Show kindness to other students and their instructors
8) Knows that you expect him/her to succeed in school and move forward at the end of each year
Please consider joining our PTA organization as our students can greatly benefit from your involvement and contributions in that program and its operations. Due to the Pandemic still affecting our community no parents will be allowed in the building for the Fall.
Our Open House will be held on Wednesday August 31, 2022 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM and you are welcome to tour the building, get a class schedule and talk with the teacher.
I am attaching a copy of our school calendar. At the Open House, you will receive a student handbook for you and your child to review together.
